This page is contains a guide on how to make your first, minor faction, star system or station page. It also includes a style guide for best practises on creating other pages.

Style guide

Proper nouns should have the first letter of each word captialized. (Order of Enblackenment)

Links to new definition pages that are two words long should only have the first letter of the first word captialized. (Background simulation, Minor faction) they should be written in the singular form if possible.

Categories should be pluralized. (Allegiances)

Page order and contents

a generic order of contents on a page should be:

• Short definition
• About
• <Main body of contents>
• Gallery
• See also
• External links
• References
• Navigation bar

How to create a multi-column list.

If your faction has more than 8 systems, consider using a multi column list.

When the editor loads, click the drop down menu next to cancel and select source editor

find the system list you've made and write <div style="{{column-count|3}}"> above it and </div> below the last element of the list.

Creating a faction page

To create a faction page, you must follow these instructions.

1. In the top right, click the new page button.
2. Enter the name of your faction or system.
3. When the editor loads, click the drop down menu next to cancel and select source editor.
4. type {{subst:PlayerGroup}}
5. Publish the page
6. edit the page again and start filling in the data.
7. Add Allegiance, Government and Size categories.

Creating a star system page

To create a faction page, you must follow these instructions.

1. In the top right, click the new page button.
2. Enter the name of your faction or system.
3. When the editor loads, click the drop down menu next to cancel and select source editor.
4. type {{subst:SystemPageLayout}}
5. Publish the page
6. edit the page again and start filling in the data.
7. Add special categories if neccessary

Creating a station page

The template is not yet implemented so at this time, this cannot be done.

Creating a planetary location page
