The Order of Enblackenment is a player group theocracy that worships the Void and seeks to spread its word and knowledge throughout the galaxy. The Order was founded by CMDR Karla, aka "High Priestess" as a Discord player group. The group later on agreed to become an in-game faction.

About

Established by explorers from the Distant Worlds Expedition touched by space madness, their ethos requires that they "seek communion with the Void through peace and reason." They also seek to accelerate entropy to 'enblacken' the stars and reach the eternal night.

They worship the Void and seek to spread its word and knowledge throughout the galaxy. Those who embrace the Void and its teachings are known as the Children of the Void.

Of note, the Order of Enblackenment is one of only 44 player theocracies. Their home system also sells the rare commodity, Saxon Wine in Hunt Enterprise.

As the Order of Enblackenment operates in both Alliance and Federation powerplay space, it has diplomatic communiques with Alliance of Independents and the Federation High Command.

Due to Foreign incursion by the Jotnars, a communist faction, in evenks, the Jotnars are now considered an enemy of the Order.

Structure

Rank	Description
Initiate	New members of the order start of with this rank.
Acolyte (Brother/Sister)	New members who have demonstrated their desire to join the faction, and have done deeds in service of the order be it exploration or work in the home systems attain this rank. A choice of either the Brother or Sister honorific becomes available.
Pilgrim	Auxiliary members who engage in non-combat activities.
Templar	Members of the Order and auxiliary members who have fought in wars for the Order.
Ovate	Dedicated Acolytes who have proven themselves for the cause
Missionaire/ Praefactus	Members of the Order who have contributed significantly to the culture, or progress of the Order attain this rank. Missionaires have spread the message of the Void in person while the Preafactus is known for his works.
Inquisitor	Members of the order who have shown the ability to moderate the most radical of the Order's member.
Cardinal	Leaders of the Order.
High Priestess	Our Founder and oracle.

• Order of Enblackenment takes control of 9 Aurigae and Zahn Station from Revolutionary Party of 9 Aurigae.

15th August 3303

• Order of Enblackenment expands to HAT 94-00572. It's first foray into being a multi-system faction.

29th August 3303

• Order of Enblackenment takes control of HAT 94-00572, gaining control of Musa al-Khwarizmi Station from Coalition of HAT 94-00572.

27th October 3303

• Order of Enblackenment takes control of Rubruck Station from Revolutionary Party of 9 Aurigae in 9 Aurigae.
